Trop proche de l’Everest.
Ça fait déjà 1 semaine qu’on est ici à Manali, comme dans les Alpes, comme en Autriche, comme dans les Andes, comme des les rocheuses canadiennes. Sommets enneigés tout autour. C’est un contraste très fort avec le sud de l’Inde. Tranquillement, tout notre crew de Hampi est monté ici dans le nord, parce qu’on est des passionés de l’escalade. Le mot se passait comme quoi y’avait de l’escalade ici. Y’en a, c’est pas la roche qui manque. Ce qu’il manque, c’est du développement. C’est ce qu’on fait, tranquillement. On brosse, on marche, on cherche, on brosse encore. Le mood est différent que juste grimper, c’est beaucoup moins rapide. Mais partir du début, c’est-à-dire trouver une roche, penser qu’il pourrait y avoir une ligne, la brosser, l’essayer et de voir que les mouvements sont VRAIMENT cool, c’est juste trop nice.
It’s been already 1 week we are here in Manali, like in the Alps, like in Austria, like in the Andes, like in the rockies. High snowed peaks all around. It’s a big contrast with the south India. Slowly, all our crew from Hampi come here in the north, because we are passionate about climbing. The word was going around that it had some climbing here. There is, for sure, it’s not the rock who missing. What is missing, it’s the developing. That’s what we are doing slowly. We are brushing, we are walking, we are searching, we are brushing again. The mood is different then just climbing, it’s a lot slower. But starting from the beginning, I mean finding a boulder, thinking it could have a problem on this, brushing it, trying it and figuring that the movements are REALLY cool, it’s just too nice.
